Lerak Foundation

Lerak Foundation is a charitable fund that aims to serve the public interest. The Foundation is a family fund that was founded in the 1970s and has its origins in the textile industry in the east of the Netherlands (Twente). Just like the former textile industry in Twente, the Foundation has both a local and international character: worthwhile projects from all over the world are eligible for support, while the Foundation also aims specifically to strengthen the Twente region in cultural, social, educational and ecological areas. Lerak’s projects range from a contributing to a small-scale, individual project to financing the long-term professionalization of an organization, from helping to turn a dream into reality, to contributing to perfecting an already existing project.

Please note that Lerak does not accept unsolicited applications so please do not write to us seeking funds. We draw on our experience, networks and internal research to identify suitable projects and beneficiaries. This enables us to work with organizations whose efforts are aligned with our priorities.

Until it changed its name in 2019, Lerak was called International Charitable Foundation (ICF).
